How do I get my Poinsettias to live outdoors?

Every one I have ever planted after the holidays have died. Discounting my black thumb, any advice? I live in Tallahassee, Florida

How do I get my Poinsettias to live outdoors?
Poinsettias are tropical plants and, while I've seen them in the ground in central and south Florida, they can't take the winters in Tallahassee -- it gets too cold. Advice -- just buy new ones every year. They're cheap enough.
Reply:Poinsettias are actually tropical plants, that's why you only see them indoors. Maybe you can find a similar looking plant that is better suited to live outdoors. Call your local plant nursery...

Good luck!
Reply:Take them outside carefully while they're asleep, and when they wake up, they don't realize they've been moved.
Reply:TAKE IT OUTSIDE
