Can someone please help me save my poinsettia plant.?

I brought it before last Christmas and it gave a wonderful show.

Then in May I planted it in the garden and it thrived. I was told to bring it into the conservatory in a large pot to over winter as the frost would kill it. This I have done but my beauty has now wilted and looks like it is dying what could I do to save it.

Can someone please help me save my poinsettia plant.?
Ok I had the exact same problem. I very very gently repotted my plant a second time in fresh nutrient rich compost, and brougth it indoors. I used a really good compost and gave it probably twice the normal plant food at the roots when I was repotting. I actually brought it right into my kitchen which is quite warm and watered it whenever the compost looked a bit sorry for it's self. It lasted me almost a year and I never took it back out side.

Reply:I'm with Andrew on this. This type of plant should be viewed like a bunch of flowers, beautiful when looking fresh and smart and time to bin when it starts to fade.

It's really not worth the effort of trying to revive it.

Reply:Congratulations on being able to keep your poinsettia as long as you have. I've had hundreds of these plants and they are absolutley beautiful at christmas but I can't even get mine to last until christmas so I've completely stopped trying. They are notoriously difficult and are more suited to a warm climate. I think I would accept defeat and treat yourself to a new one - you did well to get this far with it.
Reply:Buy a new one. They don't like draughts, and they don't like the English weather.
