Reply:I have read that poinsettias are not that toxic. Apparently a lot of it has to be eaten to make anyone sick.

Reply:pointsettias are,not posionous. They may cause an upset tummy, but that's about it. Unless the cat ate the entire plant. Tinsil is very dangerous are can be ribbon. Cats eat it and it can wrap around their intestines and kill them without quick intervention, usually surgical.

Reply:Yes. I had the same problem. My dog ate it and he got very sick. The vet said it is very poisenus to animals.
Reply:Pointsettias are poisonous. I suggest you bring that cat to a vet to get her treated RIGHT AWAY!!!
