Would my tortoise eat poinsettia leaf?

She's a Red Foot, 3 and 1/2 years old, and the leaf is fresh. I accidently cut it off. Is it poisonous in any way?

Would my tortoise eat poinsettia leaf?
Poinsettia leaves are poisonous but not deadly to humans. However, with an animal such as a tortoise that has a lot less mass, the poison in them could be a lot more serious. Do not risk it.

Reply:Don't risk it - the leaves are not meant to be ingested by people or animals.
Reply:Poinsettias ARE NOT poisonous. It was all a well-circulated rumor with no basis in fact. See the links below.
