I need help with my poinsettia plant?
To make some of the leaves turn red, it has been said that the poinsettia needs darkness...equal parts of both...and when I say darkness, I mean complete...take it out of the light and out it in a closet for 12 hours a day, then out into diffused lighting for the other twelve...don't forget to continue to water it and care for it as you have this whole year long since last Christmas
Reply:WELL I KNOW THAT IF YOU KEEP THEM IN A WARM AREA THE KEEP UP PRETTY WELL , SO MAYBE THAT WILL WORK KEEP THEM AWAY FROM DRAFTY WINDOWS
Reply:grow it in a dark place like a closet. it won't have any sunlight which gives it the green pigment color in the leaves.
Reply:Sunlight, a lot of it. But do not let it get too dry.
Reply:Keep it moist, in a sunny window, and fertilize. If you let it dry out it will begin to drop leaves. Also they dont like cold temperatures.
